What season one Star Trek episodes are best as an introduction to Star Trek?
Q. I have a friend who has never seen Star Trek, and in order to prepare him for the upcoming movie, I'd like to show him a few episodes from the original series. I have the remastered first season, and am trying to decide which to show. Which would be best? I might show him three or four.

A. Wow! Tough one. I would have to say that City on the Edge of Forever Is a must. After that I would say Balance of Terror (because it will likely be most similar to the movie, The Galileo Seven ( a great one for understanding characters and one of the few in Season one with a lot of Scotty) and then I think "Devil in the Dark" The 3 points mentioned above by marc are unimportant and never mentioned in the series itself. I will say that one's I would avoid are Charlie X, The Menagerie, Court Martial, Miri, The Man Trap, The Enemy Within, Conscience of the King. I was going to also exclude "where no man has gone before" but that one could be interesting since it is a very early one and Spock is fairly emotional but it depends on how he is… [cont.]

What year did spock from the new Star Trek film come from?
Q. Ok, so in the new Star Trek film we are lead to believe that Spock from the future ended up back in time. How old was he in the film?!?!?! Seriously! If he came from the 'true' Star Trek time-line then it must be at a time after the film Nemesis because Romulas still existed, but surely that would make Spock very old/impossibly old! How long can Vulcans live?

A. Vulcans can live an incredibly long time, as evident by Sarek being in several TNG episodes. When he died, his age was 203. Spock was born in the year 2232, which would make him a relatively young 136 years old when his father died. According to the prequel comic book, Spock was from the year 2387, which would make him only 155, still much younger than his father.

Where can i find out the true value of my Star Trek Voyager Action Figures?
Q. I use to be a big Star Trek Voyager fan.I collected alot of the characters 4.5' playmate action figures over the years and im curious to find out what the true value of them is.I've tried to search it over the internet but none of the values are the same.Im looking to sell them depending on their worth.However i need to know for sure what their real value is.Where can i go on the internet to find this information out?

A. toyfare magazine will give u what u want to know they give two values open or still in package it came in. u can get mag at places like f.y.e or just google the mag to find out where to buy the mag
