I want to start reading the Star Wars books but have no idea where to start.?
Q. I guess i would like to start around the time of Anakin because i recently started watching the animated Star Wars the Clone Wars on television and have really enjoyed the show so far. My question is, what book should i start on and if i do start with Anakin, will that confuse me? there are so many books i dont know where to start. Also what books are centered around the movies so far?

A. The Thrawn Trilogy would be one of the better ones. However I am currently reading Legacy of the Force and it is great as well.

Look in the front of one of the more recently published books and you will see a timeline something like this: that shows the chronology of the story in the established timeline. You can't go too wrong by following the books in the order shown in the timeline, as most of these books were written in just about the order shown. A lot of what you will want to read also depends upon what interests you about Star Wars. If you want to follow the main characters (Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, R2D2 and… [cont.]
