How does promotion in the air force actually work?
Q. I hear in the Air force you get promoted to e-2 after 6 months and e-3 after 10. Please clarify. Does that mean i'll be promoted to e-3 10 months after my e-2 promotion or 10 months into the service altogether? Would i get e-3 in 10 months from my initial enlistment or 16 months at the average promotion rate?

A. Assuming a 4 year enlistment, you go to basic training and from your first day in basic, for 6 months, you are an Airman Basic (E-1). At your 6 month mark, you sew on Airman (E-2) and hold it for 10 months. Once you have 10 months as an E-2, you sew on Airman First Class (E-3). You hold A1C for either 22 months (if you make Senior Airman Below the Zone) or 28 months (if you make normal Senior Airman promotion), or 36 months in the service. With a 6 year enlistment, you go through basic as an Airman Basic, graduate and go to tech school. You are an Airman Basic for 6 months still, unless... your tech school is less then 20 weeks. One of the perks to the 6 year enlistment is faster promotion to E-6. The standard is 20 weeks… [cont.]

A. for new products promotion concept is different...for old products promotion motto si different...for lot of brands..promotion is only to aware customer that they are into market and coming up with new things..for some other brand...promotion is tell people that stop usin old items and use us..use new things..and that's why they give few free gift as well and discounts..btw..I just answered this cause u asked my some other question if u remember...i already answerd once there, so yahoo not allow me to answer twice for same question..if u like buzz me on sumitkapoor2001@yahoo.com ..bye

How much does a promotion assistant for a radio station make?
Q. A girl I know works as a promotion assistant for a radio station and wanted to recommend me a job for that same position as well and she said she makes about $25 an hour. Does this sound right? I thought that radio station jobs do not pay well. Because radio station jobs seem like they don't pay well my POINT of this question was to ask if anyone else who is in the industry or knows about it can tell me if getting paid 25 dollars an hour to start sounds reasonable. A. Any job in entertainment will be hard to get. Starting out you will be paid little more than minimum especially at a small station.
