What is the best route to take to become a Navy physician?
Q. I'm an undergraduate with plans to attend medical school, and I'm very interested in beginning my medical career through the Navy. Speaking to people who are or who have been in the navy, I get the impression that recruiters don't always give completely legitimate information, since their objective is to have you join as soon as possible. My question is: When should I apply to be in the Navy? Before or after medical school? If before, is there a way to have tuition partially or fully covered by the Navy without being committed to a specific specialty? Thanks!

A. The surest way would be to apply for an internship as a Navy doctor upon your graduation from Medical School. Other things being equal the Navy is like any other organization and will try to save money, they would always be willing to get a doctor for whose training they don't have to pay as opposed to one for whose they do.

How adept were the Navy Seals who gunned down the pirates?
Q. The three Navy Seals were 75feet away from the lifeboat and killed the three pirates with three shots. The lifeboat and battleship were not still because the waves moved both boats... Are most Navy Seals trained to shoot targets 75feet away? Is it it hard to shoot a target from 75feet away? Are the Seal's guns computerized? Did the three Navy Seals use silencers with their guns?

A. they are the best shooters we have. that is why they can do it and that is why they were there in the frist place. the AK47 was pointed at the captain and they were going to kill him so we shot first. we got them all but the one on our ship. they didn't have to die if they watned to live they should have stood down but they weren't going to. they are mean people when you are the one there with the guns pointed. we did the right thing and we didn't gun them down persay lke you are indicating we gave thema chance they elected to show us force by indicating we'd shoot the captain and that is not acceptable we are not there for the sake of talking. they wanted to release him and we did. they did their job to the best they could and that is why… [cont.]
