Yes, there is a reasonably cheap glue which is instant from builders merchant called " Mitre Mate " this comes as a resin in a small bottle and a spray hardener. I have used it on furniture repair, be careful though it sticks most things including SKIN. any surplus glue can be removed with a craft knife.
