Should I franchise or try to start my own small business?
Q. I want to start my own pet supply store. I want to specialize in quality dog and cat food and toys and bedding, clothes..the whole 9 yards. Should I try to start it or franchise?

A. As a franchise consultant, one of the most important questions any first-time potential business owner asks me is whether to start their own new venture or to look at franchising. Starting up a new "mom and pop" type business is statistically very risky. Numerous studies have been conducted on this subject, and the general consensus indicates that 90-95% of new independents fail within two or three years. The steep learning curve that is involved can be a killer all by itself. The few who do succeed in this business model typically have an extremely high level of expertise in their product or service. How to set up a franchise mode for Madden 2010?
Q. My family just got Madden 2010 for the Playstation 3. We were trying to set up a regular franchise mode (not an online one) and we can't figure it out. By the time we get to where we are supposed to select it, there is no button that allows us to select to create a franchise. Sadly, we have this same problem with an online franchise too. We just want to set up a regular franchise and would love it if someone could explain the steps to us. Thanks.

A. You should just be able to go to game modes and see franchise. Click on it go to new then select a team (by pressing X) and it should take u to your teams franchise main menu.

What team should I start a franchise with on Madden 08?
Q. I'm a Packers fan so I would do them except I have one going with my brother that we both play and I'm the Packers in that one. So which team other than Green Bay should I do a franchise with? And give me a good reason why.
