I receive emails/jokes with embedded pictures in them but when I try and forward them to other email addresses the pictures are empty except for little x"s. Please tell me what I need to do to allow these embedded pictures to be seen by the receipant. Asked by mrs magoo - Sun Aug 9 08:33:44 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Have you tried to forward the e-mails (with pictures or jokes) as an attachment i had this problem and this method worked for me I use Yahoo Classic Mail Hold down the CONTROL key on your keyboard, then click the FORWARD button above the message you are forwarding a compose window opens, with the forrwarded message attached as a .eml file Type an e-mail address and compose an e-mail as you normally would Click SEND You can then check your Sent Folder to see if the pictures show up in the e-mail that you just sent and hopefull, if they show up there that means the receipent received them. Answered by Susiecat - Sun Aug 9 11:14:39 2009 How can I remove a tick embedded in my dog's skin? Q. I believe that my dog has a tick under his skin. There is a lump a little smaller than an M&M underneath his skin, and there was dried blood all around it, and a small scabbed over hole on one side. I didn't notice it while the body was still out, and I can't find anything online about how to remove a completely embedded tick. Does anyone know what I should do? Asked by CJ - Mon Dec 11 20:28:03 2006 - - 8 Answers - 0 Comments A. If you're going to attempt to remove the tick youself, , DO NOT apply petroleum jelly, a hot match, or alcohol will NOT cause the tick to 'back out.' In fact, these irritants may cause the tick to deposit more disease-carrying saliva in the wound. To remove an attached tick, use a pair of fine-tipped tweezers or special tick removal instruments. These special devices allow one to remove the tick without squeezing the tick body. This is important as you do not want to crush the tick and force harmful bacteria to leave the tick and enter your pet's bloodstream. Grab the tick by the head or mouth parts right where they enter the skin. Do not grasp the tick by the body. Without jerking, pull firmly and steadily directly outward. Q. I work for a physician who needs me to send a text message to his phone with an embedded patient number in it. The number will highlight in blue but when he calls back his personal number is sent. He wants me to use *67, but then his phone does not highlight it so he can touch to call back. Asked by Sheedo - Fri Jul 18 15:54:52 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. The sad truth is that you may need to teach your boss how to use his mobile! When you send an SMS with a number beginning with *67, the phone software does not recognise it as a telephone number, and so it does not allow the one touch dialling. Depending on your boss's phone, there are two ways that he can achieve it when you send an ordinary number to him: 1 He will need to activate "Hide ID for next call" if the phone has that function (I had a Motorola with that function, and assigned it to shortcut-1) 2 He will need to edit the number in the display to add the *67 in front of it before hitting send. He may need the assistance of a teenager to find those functions! :) The only other thing I can think of, and I have no way of… [cont.] Answered by Simon Slade - Tue Jul 22 08:57:20 2008 From Yahoo Answer Search: "embedded" this story has been formatted for easy printing
