What exactly do the torsion bars do and how do they work?
Q. I have a 1991 s10 blazer and want to put a small cheap lift on it and am considering turning the torsion bars and putting shackles on the rear springs.

A. Torsion bars are the springs of the suspension. Instead of coiled springs, they are long spring steel rods that twist, not bend, but twist like your waist turning side to side. Cranking them up raises the truck and cranked down lowers it. Chrysler used to use them exclusively. Instead of rear shackles, use air shocks ~ easier to install and you can raise or lower a lot easier by letting out or adding air to them. hint: raising the front wheels off the ground makes adjusting the torsion bars easier. Don't run the adj. bolts all the way up, just raise them some (equally, count the turns) and try it out.

How can I sub chocolate candy bars for cocoa powder in recipes for cake/cookies?
Q. My question originally got deleted?! Before I could write down the answer, and I'd appreciate anyone answering this for me again? I'd like to use Candy bars (regular eating kind), in place of expensive cocoa powder used in many recipes. How do I do this? Thanks

A. start with your butter but use a little less...melt your chocolate, and then cool it down...add to butter then sugar and blend and the rest of your ingredients you will have to add a wee bit more flour...but if you play with it enough you can perfect it.

Could I drive a bus from bar to bar and charge people/possibly even the bars a fee to do so?
Q. More specifically I am referring to setting up a loop between 5-6 bars and traveling between them all day Saturday. Possibly charging the riders a fee per ride or for the day. Local bars have done this for special events such as St Patty's Day. Not sure how lucrative this could be or the legal ramifications.

A. Negative. Depending on the State you live in, you would need what's known as a "livery" license and you would need to register your car with "livery" tags. I would google your State and Livery drivers license and/or registration. That's the only way to do this legally.
