Do the player images work for play money tables on Poker Stars?
Q. Hi, I've just created an account with poker stars and had a play money game to get used to the feel of it, but my image isn't displayed just the gold circle, does anyone know if images are displayed at all for play money games? Thanks.

A. Yes, they do display but it takes about 3 days to show.. the people that run the site need to approve of your picture first to make sure it's not inappropriate... I have an account with poker stars as well and it took several days for my picture to show up.. So don't worry people will get to see your picture soon.

How can I recover images from my formatted memory card?
Q. This sucks. I accidently formatted my SD memory card which contains about 90 images of my backpacking trip in Europe. I am currently in the middle of the vacation and am wondering if I can take more pictures with that memory card. Should I buy a new memory card and use data recovery software for my old one? I don t want to take a chance and lose those precious images forever. Please offer your suggestions! Thanks!

A. If you're still on the road, I think your idea is a good one. Get a new card and deal with the old one later. Don't take any more pictures with it!

How can i restore images in a corrupted usb flash drive?
Q. Without knowing about FAT and FAT 32 thingys, I formatted my USB to FAT. I then saved images and mp3 files to my usb from a supposedly FAT32 compatible pc. Once ran the usb again in the said pc, the images appeared as a small box with x and the mp3s can't be played. How can i restore my files? Thanks for the help.

A. It sounds like you may have had a write error on the drive by either taking it out before it could finish writing or because of some other issues while ejecting the drive. The problem wouldn't be with FAT32 as it is such an old file system it has been universally supported by Mac, Linux, and Windows for decades. When writing files to a flash drive, make sure to eject the volume before removing it from the computer. This varies from operating system to operating system so google "[your operating system] eject volume tutorial" and you'll probably find a good resource on proper handling of your removable drives.
