A. Presuming your television is vaguely modern (say 12 years or younger) you should have an audio output on the back, which you can plug in to your hifi just as you would any other source component (like a cd player or an FM Tuner, etc). Depending on your television, the volume control for your television may still be active, but if it's an option, it's best to disable the TV volume and have your volume controlled strictly by the hifi (just as you do with the other sources). Most TVs will have stereo outputs, but some older sets will only have a single mono output. If that's the case you can use an inexpensive "Y" adaptor so sound will come out of both of your HiFi speakers. That should keep you happy while you're shopping for a new… [cont.]
