The Danish National Space Center (DNSC; Danish: Danmarks Rumcenter, DRC) is a Danish sector research Institute and a part of the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. It is located in Copenhagen at Østerbro. It has a staff of 105, including 69 researchers.

It came about as a result of combining the Danish Space Research Institute with the geodesy part of the National Survey and Cadastre of Denmark on January 1, 2005.

The Center conducts research in astrophysics, Solar System physics, geodesy, and space technology. To conduct the research, the Center collaborates with the Niels Bohr Institute for Astronomy, Geophysics and Physics. The Center claims to employ seventy researchers, engineers, and technicians.

In 2007 DNSC merged with the Technical University of Denmark.

Danish Space Center blames Global Warming on the Sun. Could they be wrong?
Q. The Danish National Space Center states "Changes in the Sun contribute to climate change. Solar activity has been exceptionally high in the 20th century compared to the last 400 years and possibly compared to the past 8,000 years. When solar activity is high, the flux of galactic cosmic rays is reduced due to increased magnetic shielding by the Sun. The cosmic rays may influence Earths climate" Here is evidence that says that the suns activity is the highest it's been in the last 8000 years. How could that NOT have any effect on the earths climate?

A. Exactly! How could the Sun NOT be influencing the Earth's climate. It's unbelievable that some people believe that the Sun doesn't cause any warming on Earth. Do they just believe SUV's provide us with warmth? I think so. I wonder how many 30 year old links they'll dredge up to prove you wrong. I won't matter, their minds are closed to any new data that goes against what they "believe". To them the science is closed, settled, done, no more debate is needed. Good link. I hope you can make some others learn the truth!

The debate is over on global warming and all scientists agree? Read the new Senate report.?

U.S. Senate Report: Over 400 Prominent Scientists Disputed Man-Made Global Warming Claims in 2007 Senate Report Debunks "Consensus" Complete U.S. Senate Report Now Available: (LINK) Complete Report without Introduction: (LINK) introduction: Over 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries recently voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called "consensus" on man-made global warming. These scientists, many of whom are current and former participants in the UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), criticized the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore. A. Just goes to show that you can only fool the people for so long. I've always believed that the truth will reveal itself if you give it time. Just wait. In a little while Bob and Dana and that other goof with the feathered hat will come on here and call all those scientists "skeptics and deniers being paid by Exxon." Just watch and see... they are so funny to listen to. So serious yet so uninformed. Ignorance isn't bliss, it's hilarious.

A. Actually, that Danish study is wrong. Global warming is not solar induced. If it were, every planet would be warming, and that isn't the case. So ...yeah, try again.
