The Danish National Space Center (DNSC; Danish: Danmarks Rumcenter, DRC) is a Danish sector research Institute and a part of the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. It is located in Copenhagen at Østerbro. It has a staff of 105, including 69 researchers. It came about as a result of combining the Danish Space Research Institute with the geodesy part of the National Survey and Cadastre of Denmark on January 1, 2005. The Center conducts research in astrophysics, Solar System physics, geodesy, and space technology. To conduct the research, the Center collaborates with the Niels Bohr Institute for Astronomy, Geophysics and Physics. The Center claims to employ seventy researchers, engineers, and technicians. In 2007 DNSC merged with the Technical University of Denmark to DTU Space. From Wikipedia under the

From Google News Search: "Danish National Space Center" Why does Bob from Yahoo Answers believe in global warming? Q. He claims to be educated but believes MANKIND is causing global warming??? The film features an impressive group of experts in the fields of climatology, oceanography, biogeography, meteorology, and paleoclimatology from reputable institutions such as NASA, MIT, The International Arctic Research Centre, the Pasteur Institut in Paris, the Danish National Space Center and the Universities of Winnipeg, Ottawa, London, Jerusalem, Alabama and Virginia. Expert after expert in this film blasts craters into the theory that CO2 -- which only makes up 0.054% of the earth's atmosphere -- has ever driven climate. Ice core records, in fact, prove the opposite, that CO2 lags warming by as much as 800 years. The face of it is a Democratic politician. Most people don't believe a word coming out of a politicians mouth but they want to believe this LIE for some reason. It is just another way for politicians to tell you what to do and intrude on your life. Answered by Towelie - Tue Aug 28 10:12:06 2007 Are AGW "Skeptics" in good company? Q. The Danish National Space Center (Denmark's NASA) states "Changes in the Sun contribute to climate change. Solar activity has been exceptionally high in the 20th century compared to the last 400 years and possibly compared to the past 8,000 years" NASA's Earth Observatory web site (link down) states that the Sun is responsible for half of all warming, and natural causes contribute to overall warming, then man last. Scientist in Russia see the Sun as the cause of all global warming, and the increased co2 being the result, not cause of increased temperatures Does anyone believe that the Danish Space Agency thinks the Earth is only 6,000 years old, or NASA believes in creationism? Or do you think that we don't have enough… [cont.] Asked by Dr Jello - AGW RIP 1980-2010 - Tue Mar 4 12:25:45 2008 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments A. The left loves their conspiracy theories. You will notice that their pet theory AGW that is going to kill us all (unless we put them in charge) is being attacked by the great right wing cabal, tobacco and big oil. The left seeks to demonize industry it doesn't approve of and blame it on everything. I don't like tobacco, but it is amuzing to me that they attempt to link tobacco with global warming. I suppose pretty soon they will accuse those who are skeptical of AGW of promoting cancer. If you can't win an argument, smear your opponents. Q. Banning Legos And building a world where all structures will be standard sizes. By John J. Miller Perhaps you ve heard about the schools that have banned tag. Or dodgeball. Or stories about pigs. If so, you won t be surprised to hear that the Hilltop Children s Center in Seattle has banned Legos. A pair of teachers at the center, which provides afterschool activities for elementary-school kids, recently described their policy in a Rethinking Schools cover story called Why We Banned Legos. (See the magazine s cover here.) It has something to do with social justice learning. My vision of social justice for children of elementary-school age is as follows: If you re tagged, you re it; if the ball hits you, you re out; and pig… [cont.] Asked by GREAT_AMERICAN - Mon Apr 2 19:31:33 2007 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. Have you ever heard the term "Nanny State"? American kids are not only being taught to be complacent they are being taught not to competitive. US schools are socialists training grounds & that's almost worst than terrorist training grounds.
