What are the different options and accessories for the 1967 Ford Falcon?
Q. My dad got me a 1967 Ford Falcon Futura Sports Coupe for me to fix up for my first car. It already has the 289 V8 and 3 speed on the column. I just want to know what I could do to make it more comfortable and be original at the same time. Thanks in advance

A. That is a great car to start with. I would make sure the suspension and brakes are in great shape and to update the ignition system with a Pertronix ignition system which would replace the points and condensor without changing anything else. Also anything you can do to a 67 68 Mustang you can do to your Falcon which is pretty much the same platform. You can put a nice set of wheels and tires on that car too. Nice rare car I hope you learn all you can and enjoy it. I added Dearborn Classic and Pertronix my first car was and still is a 1964 Galaxie 500 my dad got me for my birthday, we worked on it together.

What is the value of a baseball autogrpahed by the 1967 red sox?
Q. its the 40th anniversary. Is there anywhere that I can get a free apraisal? The ball is in perfect condition wrapped in the original box the ball came in. Stored in a safe. The ball was only touched by the players themselves and not one person has touched it since then. The ink is still perfect, not turned green or anything. It is autographed by the entire 1967 sox.

A. As a die hard Sox fan I'd give my left arm for it... From another site, I saw this "same" question with an answer from someone who might know: +++ Q: My grandfather gave me a ball autographed by the 1967 Red Sox pennant team. He got it from someone who was close with the team at the time, and had the entire team sign the ball. A: I've been an avid memorabilia collector for almost 20 years now. I'd say getting about $500 for the ball is feasible, but $1000 wouldn't be out of the question. You might think this is low, but I've noticed a drop in memorabilia value over the past few years. +++ You can probably locate a Baseball Card and Memorabilia show near you by looking on the web. A site similar to this might be a good place to start: … [cont.]

A. The best resource would be the old municpal codes from that time... your local public library should still have them.

1967 Mustang 289 swap a three speed manual for a c4 auto?
Q. The car is a 1967 Mustang 289 V8. What I want to do is swap out the the three speed manual transmission for a c4 automatic transmission. What I need to know: 1.Has anyone done something similar to this with success(whats your advice and is it worth it)? 2.List of all exact parts I will need to make this work? 3.How hard is it, will it need any extreme modifications? 4.Any reccommendations? Thanks for the help.

A. I did it with my 71 Mustang, went from a 3-speed to a C4. Regardless of what people tell you, what I DIDN'T need to change is: - Drive shaft - Starter - Speedo Gear Everything is a unbolt, boltup replacement -- no cutting or anything radical. I had to change my radiator since the one I had didn't have the transmission cooler built in - I had a 6-cyl. Running the transmission cooler lines were tricky since I received them all bent up. Changing the brake pedal was easier than I thought, changed the whole support base. Wiring for the reverse switch plugged right into the harness. Had to change the Carb linkage to accept the kick down rod. getting it tweeked right took a little time. Need to add a vacuum line to the transmission modulator.… [cont.]

What do the Jonas Brothers have to do with 1967 Chevy Impala?
Q. Okay, shoot me I read some JB ff stuff, and in almost every single one, they mention the JoBros with a 1967 Chevy Impala. The only thing that makes any sense to me, is that all the girls are like secretly Supernatural worshipers. So, is there any saneness behind the Impala? Or is it just all fanmade?

A. Well I do believe it is in the the Paranoid video and it looks a lot like Nick's car but it isn't, it is a dodge challenger (kudos to rolling stone magazine) His is an older version so it does look somewhat like the Impala. However some fans could just be saying it like you said or some could honestly not tell the difference between the Impala and the challenger

How to convert 1967 Ford F250 to run on unleaded gas?

A. It will actually run on unleaded, the problem is premature wear on the valves and seats. I would just add some lead substitute and run it till it needs a valve job and then put in the hardened seats..

Do you believe there is a connection between Mothman sightings and the Silver Bridge collapse in 1967?

A. These are the engines that were available for your car: 6-cyl 225 8-cyl 273-2 318-2 383-2 383-4 The last engine is quite rare on the 4-door. Most popular was probably the 318 with the 273 second and the 6 third. It's also known that the 426 Hemi was installed in a handfull of cars - I believe 2 4-doors are known at this moment. However, what you need to do is post the VIN of your car. The 5th character should tell us what engine it is. Off the top of my head, I think "J" is the 426 Hemi and "H" is the 383-4, but chances are your car had another engine. If you could update your question with the engine code, I should be able to help you. Of course, this does not suggest that the engine in the car is what it came with originally -… [cont.]
